These cards have sold out, but The Scrap Box has another collection of early 20th century “Happy Birthday” postcards (January 2013). They are charmingly nostalgic and we are selling them for $2 to $3 each.

The Scrap Box recently received someone’s postcard collection. The cards tell a story of time spent in California, New York, Florida, Michigan, Yellowstone, and the American West. The cards are from the 30’s, 40’s and 50’s, and range from hand colored drawings to glossy photographs, both black and white and color. None of the cards have messages or stamps on them. They were likely collected as souvenirs of a well-traveled life.

They could be used in collage, shadow boxes, journal or photo album covers. The cards are beautiful enough to frame: pictures of your favorite place from a different time. They are a great bargain, priced at $1 or $2 dollars.
