Here’s Kate!

She is wearing her Italian dinner costume:
Notice the spaghetti on the plate around her middle, the saucy red sweater, the red and white checkered tablecloth, the salad (in her bag), the restaurant menu for people to write comments about her disguise, the mushroom earrings, the meatball hat speared with a pasta-wrapped fork…

Her witty use of inexpensive materials from The Scrap Box is fun. Even her “cheesy” companion (notice the oversized container of parmesan cheese?) is a friend of The Scrap Box!

I’ll admit that we had to Google what the Italian flag looked like,
and to double check what Kraft grated parmesan containers loook like…

A bit of information:
Kate and her friend were wearing their creative costumes as volunteers at The Ark, a great place to experience live acoustic music.

Considered one of the top music clubs in the world, The Ark is renowned for the quality and breadth of its programming. The Ark is an intimate 400-seat club presenting performers who fall into the wide-ranging genres of folk and roots music.

Here’s Kate!

She is at the Ypsilanti Farmers’ Market. Here her costume,
on its first trial,

was a bit on the wild side.

I’ll leave you with a quote.

“Everything you see I owe to spaghetti.”++++++++—Sophia Loren
