The Scrap Box has a good amount of gold transfer foil, so now is your opportunity to stock up at bargain prices!

Transfer foil is the material which printers use to apply metallic colors to book covers, business cards, wedding invitations, and other items.

The Box gets transfer foil from a book printer: once the edition of book covers is finished, the remainder of the roll of foil would usually go to trash, but it is too good a scrap to waste!

Children love to use this material on adhesive surfaces; when else would they have the fun of applying a metallic color to their creations?

This short video shows how to use our transfer foil with self adhesive foam. You could use the sticky side of labels or double-sided tape. There are no toxic fumes so young children are free to create some beautiful artwork safely. See this post about making a golden picture frame!
